Ironworks Downtown Denver City Wedding | David + Tayler
Fun Fact: My couples are often creatives, designers and entrepreneurs! My bride, (Tayler) actually helped design the Ironworks building. Wrapping finishing touches just days before the wedding, they said I do under a vaulted ceiling with twinkling chandeliers. The modern, yet historical architecture accented their gatsby themed day perfectly. Giving me all the cool angles to creatively shoot.
The winding staircase made for the perfect entrance with her dad to the second floor. I couldn’t get over all the small details of this venue! You will have to see for yourself in the photos, but it is truly unique and there are so many ways to design this space. The bar is giant with a second upstairs. After cocktail hour, there was a reception at the sister building next door, Mile High Station! This venue has SO much character and all the space you could need to host an event.
I edited the wedding with a film based feel and was obsessed with the moody vibes of the entire hotel. David surprised Tayler playing a song on his guitar for her with the live band. They danced on stage together and the crowd was wild and so fun. At the end of the night I pulled these party animals for some night exposures under a quiet snowfall while they danced in the street coronas in hand.
